Little Windsors
Our Under 2’s room is a warm, nurturing environment designed to support our youngest children as they explore, grow and thrive through play. The space has been carefully created to promote the three prime areas of learning: physical development, communication and language, and personal, social and emotional development.
Children are encouraged to move freely and safely, building strength, coordination and confidence through a range of age-appropriate physical experiences. Rich opportunities for communication and language are embedded throughout the room, with attentive adults engaging in meaningful interactions, songs, stories and play to support early speech and understanding. Strong, trusting relationships are at the heart of the room, helping children to feel secure, valued and confident as they begin to develop their social skills and emotional awareness.
The environment offers an excellent space for exploration, curiosity and discovery, where children can learn at their own pace through play-based experiences. A separate, calm sleep room allows for individual routines to be followed consistently, ensuring each child’s care needs are met with sensitivity and respect on a daily basis.
